Elodie’s Family

I was blessed with the birth of a beautiful son with Down syndrome in 2013. My son is the center of my universe as well as that of our family. The only way I could imagine life being any better was to adopt another child with Down syndrome. As of 2024 I am twice blessed with a son and daughter. At a mere 6 months of age my daughter is full of joy. She smiles and babbles and spreads happiness everywhere she goes. Like her older brother, she was born with health issues that are commonly seen in individuals with Down syndrome. Also like her brother, she is a fearless warrior and she stuns her doctors by how well she is growing and developing given the health challenges she has. I could not have envisioned a more perfect family than that with which I have been blessed. I am deeply grateful for the gift of my two children.
